Frontend Developer job in New York

A top NYC-based FinTech firm is looking for a seasoned React Developer to join their growing technology team. This growing firm is the future of financial services on the cloud.

As a member of their frontend team you will be responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining the firm's custom UI framework. This framework abstracts away HTML, CSS and JavaScript, enabling non-frontend engineers to write rich, component-based, full-stack web applications exclusively using Python. React and Redux underpin the frontend of the framework, typically binding to their proprietary dependency graph implementation for data modeling on the backend.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

2+ years of hands-on experience with large scale web application development
A proven understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and the DOM (React & Styled Components)
Experience working on the server side (PHP, Python, Java, Go, NodeJs, etc.)
Experience working with Restful APIs
Passion around continuous education, research, and development around the latest video and web technologies
A strong eye for product design and interactivity, and unwavering attention to detail
Top notch communication skills (written and verbal)
